Cooking (Ages 3 – 5)

After school cooking is not just about food, it is about growing into a chef that is independent, creative and organized. The class is hands-on and a great opportunity for the children to explore their senses, strengthen skills and encourage creative thinking.

The children will not only get to whip up yummy and delicious treats, they also get exposed to math mixed with fun games based on measuring lessons!

Hands on activities such as whisking and grating will help develop manual dexterity.  We talk about daily tools and ingredients after eating and completing our delicious project.

Last, but not least, our chefs work as a team to clean up shop! Each child is assigned a job – from sweeping to washing dishes. But the most important part is to have loads of fun and full bellies in the process!
