Cooking (ages 3-5)

Afterschool cooking is not just about food, it is about growing into a chef that is independent, creative and organized. The class is hands-on and a great opportunity for children to explore their senses, strengthen skills and encourage creative thinking.

Your child, along with their friends, will get to:

  • whip up yummy and delicious treats;
  • be exposed to math based on fun measuring games;
  • get hands-on activities whisking and grating (which help develop manual dexterity); and,
  • discuss daily tools/ingredients used after completing (and eating) each delicious project.

Last, but not least, our mini chefs get to work as a team and clean up shop! Each child is assigned a job from sweeping to washing dishes. But most importantly, it is all about loads of fun and full bellies!
